This script will back up your data and update your store to the most recent revision of the Windward E-Commerce System. You must have the wecsrelease.tgz file in your store directory before running this script. Once begun, the update process will run until completion, even if your browser times out while waiting for the request to complete. Large datasets may take a considerable length of time to update. If you are working on a large dataset, you may need to use whatever server performance monitoring tools you have available to determine when the processing has completed.
