Station Hurn, Bournemouth, England
Leave
roster made up by Flight Commanders this morning. F/O P.S.
Barton left this morning for Harrington, and Burgess is still
waiting to see if his posting has been cancelled. F/L Jim
Prendergast flew in this morning in his Squadron's Auster. He is
now flying Mustangs in 430 Squadron & is stationed at
Gatwick. He stayed for lunch and left at 1330 hours.
438
Squadron went on their first "Ops" trip this morning.
We are scheduled to go this afternoon but it was cancelled.
F/O's Brown & P/O Burton returned back from leave.
