All
pilots were given a good talking to, by S/L Smith on the abuse
of R/T. Apparently we have been talking too much, so we've just
got to cut down. W/C Sellers, S.M.O. of 83 Group TAF, visited
the Squadron this morning, and gave us a very interesting talk
on the oxygen mask. He also answered numerous questions about
the use of oxygen, the mask, the dinghy, and general comforts
while flying.
A "Wing Show" was carried out this
afternoon with 440 Squadron & proved very successful. On
landing, F/O "Buzz" Leigh passed S/L Smith on the
runway. "Buzz" was given the order of the day, and
took quite a razzing.
