Now have ten serviceable aircraft, other four are still in hangar getting checks. Weather still bad and only circuits and bumps carried out in morning with no flying in the afternoon. Seven pilots attended the funeral of F/O Hope of 438 Squadron (1) who was killed when his Hurricane crashed on Friday. Several other pilots attended the lecture at the Intelligence Section. F/O Elfner returned to duty from hospital. Also learned that W/C Marples would be leaving us very shortly.
