Last night several of the pilots experienced their first air raid. The raid was on Bournemouth & vicinity, and only a few bombs were dropped. Several schemes carried out with the Army. F/O Thomas & P/O Bernhart went looking for a pilot who went down in the channel last night. There was no trace of him.
